Kenzie has none of the classic qualities people believe all princesses should have--grace, poise, kindness. Instead, she feels like the black sheep of the family, especially compared to her seemingly perfect siblings--but in spite of her anxiety, she must play the part in her parents' medieval-themed resort in an old castle. When the old castle's time-traveling squire Gavin appears in Kenzie's present, she will learn that being a princess has a lot more to do with bravery and being a good friend than she imagined.
