In the land of Nothing, humans and magical volken coexist. Nathan Cadwell, an ordinary human, wakes up in the middle of a forest and meets Haven, who is neither human or volken. Suddenly the two are being chased by volken mercenaries, a wolf named Bardou and a crow named Sina. On their adventure, Nathan learns he has magical powers like Haven, and together they go on a dangerous quest to save Nothing from a coming evil.
