Seventeen-year-old Leroy has decided to pursue art in college and become a painter, but it is hard to be excited at anything with his older brother in jail and with his buried secret--Leroy is gay, and knows he can never come out to his family and make things even more difficult. An event sets Leroy on a journey from Dallas to Taos, to discover how to let go of his fear and embrace love.
