
When Grace Mae is sent to the Boston insane asylum she is pregnant with her father's baby and mute. But when the staff of the asylum push her too far, her voice erupts as she acts out violently causing her to lose her baby. Locked away in the basement for her actions, Grace is discovered by a visiting doctor who sees a brilliance inside her mind.
