When W.W. Hale inherits his grandmother's billion-dollar corporation, he soon discovers that his new position as the company's head will prevent him from carrying out any more heists with his girlfriend, Katarina Bishop. Not long after, however, Katarina discovers a plot to seize control of Hale's company, and devises a plan to intercept those responsible. Succeeding in saving the company, however, result in her loss of Hale himself -- a price she is not sure she is willing to make.
