Gabriel Lightfoot, who attempts to run a successful kitchen staff at the Imperial Hotel, meets constant challenges from his staff, hotel management, and business partners, and when a worker is found dead in the establishment's basement, the delicate balance of Gabe's life begins to fall apart.
