
While Marko and his family are staying on Jetsam, Doff and Upsher promise the family new bodies and identities if they sell their story, giving Hazel a normal life and showing warmongers that harmony is possible between the races. While they are considering it, Sir Robot, Squire, and Petrichor agree to give them scandalous information if they can take the offer and start a new life.
