Green Lantern Abin Sur crashes onto Earth, leaving fighter pilot Hal Jordan to take on the responsibility of being a Green Lantern, and when Hal travels to the Green Lantern home world of Oa, he tries to determine whether or not he has the characteristics and skills necessary to become a Green Lantern and save Earth.
