Tom Taylor, who has lived in the shadow of his author father's fictional character who was a wizard and whose story closely resembled Tom's life, is arrested in a foreign country for the murders of famous authors and finds the line between reality and fiction blurred when he must rely on his dad's escapist stories in order to protect himself from powerful enemies.
