Three young dragons, born of the same nest, hold the key to survival of the dragon race, as well as other magical creatures, when the encroachment of Men threatens Wyvernwood, the forest in which they live, forcing them to look for the three ancient artifacts that will lead them to a new home.

From London, through the Austrian Alps, and to central China, Jack, Gwen, and new friend Liu Fai face a clockwork dragon as they try to prevent Gall from finding ancient artifacts said to grant immortality.
