When the Wishing Well sends Merida's horse, Angus, to Horsetail Hollow, sisters Evie and Maddie must find a way to get him back to Merida's fairytale in order to help her find her happily ever.

Maddie follows her little sister Evie into Belle's fairy tale, where Philippe the horse helps them secure Belle's happily ever after.

Eight-year-old Maddie and her family move to a farm called Horsetail Hollow, and after she and her six-year-old sister find a wishing well, a magnificent white horse appears--but Maximus is a fairy tale horse, conjured out of Evie's book--so when the girls try to wish him back into his story they all end up in the fairy tale, trying to save Rapunzel.

"The wishing well has been quiet lately, and Maddie and Evie wonder if their wishes have been used up.

"Maddie has no trouble making friends with horses, but being the new kid at school is a whole lot harder.
