Clint Asuna, a junior at Grissom High School, befriends a beautiful girl who was hiding behind his truck, but he soon finds out that there is more to the story she is telling him.

On his way home from work, Derrick Shaw witnesses a murder and to save himself he promises not to reveal the identity of the killer, a former Tubman student, but the guilt of the cover-up proves to be too much for Derrick as he contemplates turning in the shooter.
