Fourteen-year-old Dylan Crow, known as Slider, prefers skateboarding around New York to going to school--but when he gets mixed up in the search for the Artifact he needs the help of The Revolution to save himself, his foster family, and his friend Juliet.

A group of high school kids step up when Tony Hawk's skateboard shatters and the students set out on an adventure around the world to collect the missing pieces and put them back together.

Omar, Dylan, Amy and Joey, the first four members of the Revolution team, are searching for the next fragment of Tony Hawk's powerful 900 skateboard in Minneapolis, and their search leads them to a teen who is tuned into the Artifact, but the evil Collective once again stands in their way.

When the remaining members of the Revolution team are sent to New York to retrieve another Artifact, they find that once again the Collective has beaten them to it, and that the whole mission is a trap--can the exiled Dylan rescue them?.

When the Revolution team walks into a Collective trap in Mexico, they begin to suspect that one of their number is a double agent--as suspicion begins to poison their relationships the main suspect, Dylan, is sent into exile and headquarters is locked down.

As the Revolution team secures more of the Artifacts their powers are increasing, and one dangerous vision leads Omar to Hawaii and a confrontation with his former best friend Tommy and the Collective, and the other members of the team must rescue him in time.

The Collective is on the move, determined to recover its agent Tommy Goff who is being held captive by the Revolution, but one Collective agent has more ambitious plans--to kill team leader Eldrick Otus and destroy the Revolution completely.

The surviving members of the Revolution regroup under the leadership of Zeke Grebes and set out to recover the stolen Fragments--but it will take an epic skateboard battle with the agents of the Collective to reunite the pieces of Tony Hawk's 900 skateboard and restore its power.

Omar is still troubled by his vision of the future, but when another vision sends the Revolution to a forgotten pyramid in Egypt to recover a new Fragment, and two of the teens are trapped inside the pyramid, they must all put aside the suspicions and conflicts of the past few months and work as a team if any of them are going to survive.

Trapped in a vision, Omar finds himself five years in the future, in a post-apocalyptic world where the Collective has won, people wander the streets mindlessly, and his friends are dead or vastly changed--and he must survive and find out what this particular vision means for the Revolution.
