Carina, crown princess of a tiny European nation, is desperate to sneak away from her chaperones while on a goodwill tour of Los Angeles to attend a Toadmuffin concert, so she switches places with local look-alike Julia, who is only too happy to accept ten thousand dollars to attend an embassy ball, but things go awry when Julia falls in love with Carina's fiance, and Carina somehow finds herself on the way to Texas on the band tour bus.
