Stacey's move to a new town and her struggle with diabetes are made easier by her friendships with Kristy, Claudia, and Mary Anne, and her participation as a member of the Baby-sitter's Club.

Follows the adventures of Kristy and the other members of the Baby-sitters Club as they deal with crank calls, uncontrollable two-year-olds, wild pets, and parents who do not always tell the truth.

When a fight breaks out among the members of the Babysitters Club, timid Mary Anne finds herself becoming more assertive as a baby sitter and in her relationships with her father and friends.

"It's the first day of a new school year, and while Mary Anne doesn't know what to expect from the eighth grade, she's looking forward to getting back into the swing of things.

Kristy gets an idea for a babysitter's club and enlists the help of her friends, Mary Anne and Claudia, who introduce a new member, Stacey.

Stacey McGill is moving back to New York, and her friends must face the sadness of saying good-bye, hunt down the perfect farewell gift, and take on the difficult task of filling Stacey's place in the Baby-sitters Club.

"Jessi recently moved to Stoneybrook and is one of the newest members of The Baby-sitters Club.

"Kristy's mom is getting married, and Kristy is going to be a bridesmaid! The only trouble is, fourteen kids are coming in town for the wedding.
